To ignite dialogue and bring awareness to this neglected part of New York City, Artefacting organized a 2-day festival. Within the shipping container walls of a concrete industrial lot, “El Estadio” was created. Here, 24 soccer teams representing 24 Willets Point car workshops and garages came together to compete for the ultimate title - Willets Point Champion 2011.
